This historical map, originally titled "İtalya," presents the Italian peninsula in 19th-century Ottoman-Turkish cartography, fully labeled in Arabic script. From the Alps in the north to Sicily in the south, the detailed illustration depicts numerous cities, regions, and provinces. The Alpine range is included, as are the offshore islands of Sardinia and Corsica, the latter assigned to French territories. Along the margins of the map, there are references to neighboring countries such as Switzerland, France, and Austria, as well as regions of the Balkans and the Ottoman Empire. The surrounding seas—the Adriatic Sea, the Tyrrhenian Sea, and the Mediterranean—are specifically labeled. A continuous coordinate grid allows for precise geographical orientation. The map is framed by an elaborately designed blue border with ornamental corner motifs, characteristic of Ottoman atlases of that period. A remarkable document of Ottoman geographical study and an appealing collector's item for enthusiasts of historical cartography, Ottoman art, and Italian national history. Rare and decorative at the same time—an enrichment for any collection.

Historical maps show traces of time and use, the intensity and nature of which vary depending on the map and its intended purpose. The print offered is a reproduction.
