This is a very detailed French nautical chart of the west coast of Scotland. The map covers the coastal section from "Cape Wrath" in the north to the "Point of Ardnamurchan" in the south. This includes a large part of the Scottish Highlands and the island groups of the Inner and Outer Hebrides. As a nautical chart, it also contains typical navigation lines (rhumb lines) that radiate from a central point. Longitude: The longitude coordinates refer to the Paris meridian, which was common for French maps of that time.
