The Argentina tourist card is a colorful picture card issued by the national tourism board as the “Esquema de los Principales Servicios de Turismo.” It was drawn and printed in Buenos Aires. It shows the entire country from the Bolivian border in the north to Tierra del Fuego in the south. The provinces are marked with their names, cities, and transport links, while the Andes stretch along the western edge as a shaded relief in warm orange and brown tones.

What makes it special are the many small scenes that bring the country to life. You’ll discover the Iguazú Falls, Aconcagua, skiers in Mendoza, gauchos in Salta, sheep flocks in Chubut, penguins in the south, and the skyscrapers of Buenos Aires. Red lines mark railway and air routes, while small symbols represent fishing, golf, seaside resorts, and hot springs. Steamships and sailboats sail on the Atlantic, and an inset map shows Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica, and the islands of the South Atlantic.

The card is a beautiful piece of travel and social history from the heyday of the tourist poster. It’s perfect for a living room, study, or hallway and makes a special gift for fans of Argentina, expatriates, travelers, and collectors. Each card is a reproduction produced as a high-quality giclée print and is made individually for you.

You can order the print in the specified sizes.
All maps are delivered unframed and securely packaged. If the product’s dimensions and prices include a framed option, you can also order it framed.

We strive to reproduce the colors as accurately as possible. However, slight color differences may occur between the image on your screen and the print due to varying monitor and device settings (brightness, contrast, saturation).
